Toy Story Woody Costume
When my kid was a toddler and preschooler, we watched Toy Story and Toy Story 2 over and over again on DVD. It was all about Buzz Lightyear. He even jumped off the back deck, screaming, “To Infinity…and Beyond!” and made his older cousin lose a baby tooth when they both landed in a pile on the ground! I took away his flying privileges in addition to the normal punishment. I also paid the dentist’s bill for my nephew.
He eventually grew out of the Buzz phase, fortunately, and no one else got hurt. When he was four, he began what I call his “Woody phase”. He wants to be like Woody- honest, funny, and loyal. These are all good qualities; I just wish he’d occasionally leave the house without his hat.
He has already decided he wants to dress up in a Toy Story Woody Costume for Halloween this year. I have already begun the costume hunt. Little kids can be very exacting about their wants and desires. He wants to look just like Woody, and my putting his costume together from things we have in the house just won’t do this year. No, this year he wants a “real” costume.
The Woody Costume comes with everything he needs to be just like his favorite character, and the construction is good enough that his little brother or his younger cousins could wear it for their trick-or-treat fantasies next year.
The Toy Story Woody Costume includes a body suit that closes in back, and leaves room for long underwear or a sweat suit underneath for warmth. It even has spats that look just like Woody’s boots, and comes complete with the hat! This is the best and most complete costume I have seen for the money. I can’t wait to see his face when he gets this costume! I just hope I can get it away from him after Halloween is over this year!
